High School Track and Field
Any high school student interested in participating in track and field, please meet with Coach Abbott after school at 3:30 in the old gym on Wednesday March 6th.
The Edmunds Family and the Morris Family from the Southwestern Heights community experienced significant damage and loss in the Hayne Andrew Lane Fire in Seward County, Kansas, Feb. 29th. Please help us support these families with donations. Each grade will have a jar to gather funds.
We had three ambitious 5th grade young ladies who spent the day at the SCCC Regional Science Fair competing against four different schools. Mikaelee Kuehler earned a Gold in Biomedical and Health Science. Avery Anderson earned a Silver in Physics, and Allena Snook earned a fourth place in Material Science. In addition, Avery Anderson qualified for State Competition in Wichita, March 22nd and 23rd. We are very proud of their accomplishments.
We celebrated 100 pts. or more reading lexile increases on Wednesday! We are so proud of our students!
